Every year, two old friends fly onto Eastern State Penitentiary to guard the front gate for us during Terror Behind the Walls. Frank and Carson, the gargoyles sitting atop the penitentiary façade each fall, arrived here in 2005 and have been fulfilling this duty ever since. Even the local news comes out to celebrate their arrival!
Knowing the kind of following they have, we thought our avid haunt visitors should be able to take the gargoyles home with them. Opting to start with Frank (who is nearly six feet tall and close to 300 pounds), we worked tirelessly to make sure his essence was captured in plush form. Chains and all, Frank is the spittin’ image of his regular self! Those ominous white eyes and pointy teeth are just as intimidating on the ground as they are high above the penitentiary entrance. Make sure to swing by the prison for Terror Behind the Walls and say hello to Frank... in all forms!
